Blooms of Many Colors

Hydrangeas are simply gorgeous.
They bloom in many colors and add beauty to all landscapes.

I visited my brother the other day and noticed this lovely pink one
on the same bush as the pale pink and lavender.
They each blossomed in their own shade of color.

Much like people, we gather together, spend time hanging out,
even come from the same family, yet, we're different from one another.
That's because God created us to be who He meant us to be and to bloom
into ourselves. We each have our own abilities, looks, and passions.

Honor God with the life He's given.

Bloom

We all go through dark times, sadness, sorrow, grief, difficulties,
but there is good news.

We don't have to stay there.
With God's help, we can grow through the dirt and bloom!
Yes, bloom.
Blossom into beautiful people who understand others' trials and difficulties.
We can be the person who reaches out and comforts,
the one who accepts the scars of others and loves them like Jesus.

Sometimes when you're in a dark place,
you think you've been buried,
but actually you've been planted...
BLOOM!

A Bright Yellow Spot on a Dreary Day

In a large field next to our church, I spotted this daffodil.
The saying I've heard so many times popped in my head.

"Bloom where you are planted."

This lovely drop of yellow amidst the snow covered winter grass
filled my heart with joy.
It bloomed in the midst of a field with no other flowers.

God places me in situations sometimes where I'm uncomfortable,
but I've learned to ask Him to help me grow and serve in that exact spot.

Are you in an uncomfortable place? Seek His help and bloom!
