Hope of Spring!

One of my favorite signs of spring blooms in early May.

The dogwood offers her showy blossoms in white and pink.
If you know me, you know I love pink.

God has given us so many beautiful plants,
and they bring joy to my heart and hope to my soul.

As the creator of all things, He gave us beauty to encourage and lift our hearts.

When you see the glory of spring, have hope!

Every Flower Waits

As I watch my little flower garden bloom, it's like a play
with main characters in different scenes.

The tulips take the stage with the daffodils, in act one.
As the acts change, different blooms step to the front.

Today, the corral bells, in their pink,
dance with the white and purple columbine.

Each act is lovely, as every flower waits for its turn to bloom.

No one is expected to flower every day.
Be kind to yourself.

A Pop of Color

Every year the mimosa trees bloom.
Like clockwork their pinkish puffs shoot from their fern-like leaves.

I trust they will pop with color every August.

If I can trust a tree to bloom year after year,
I can certainly trust God.

He's bigger than anything that goes on in our world.
And He shows up every day.

For that I am thankful.

Love in a Mist

My dear friend, Phoebe, gave me this beautiful blossom in a sweet bouquet.
Blue blooms are not as common as pink, white, or yellow flowers, but they are so lovely.
